1

What makes you valuable

Find your niche

Everyone has something: a skill you've developed, knowledge from your field, a perspective that comes from your specific experiences. The first step is identifying what that is, and who would pay to learn it from you.

Questions to ask yourself

  • What do people always ask you for help with?
  • What could you talk about for hours without getting bored?
  • What have you figured out that others struggle with?
  • What would you do for free? (Then figure out how to charge for it.)

Your niche doesn't have to be revolutionary. It has to be specific. "Fitness" is too broad. "Strength training for busy dads over 40" is a niche. The riches are in the niches.

2

Content strategy that works

Build your presence

Social media isn't about going viral. It's about building trust with the right people over time. You don't need millions of followers, you need the right followers who value what you offer.

Pick your platform

Go where your audience already is. Don't spread yourself thin trying to be everywhere.

Consistency > perfection

Posting regularly beats posting perfectly. Your first 100 posts will be rough. That's fine.

Teach, don't sell

Give away your best stuff for free. It builds trust and positions you as the expert.

Be yourself

Authenticity wins. The right audience will find you when you stop trying to be someone else.

3

Turn expertise into income streams

Monetize your knowledge

There's no single "right" way to monetize. The best model depends on your skills, your audience, and how you want to spend your time. The main paths:

Digital products
Ebooks, templates, guides, worksheets. Create once, sell forever. Lower price point, higher volume.
Online courses
Package your knowledge into a structured learning experience. More work upfront, scales infinitely.
Coaching & consulting
High-touch, premium pricing. Trade time for money, at a much higher rate than a traditional job.
Memberships & communities
Recurring revenue from a group of people who want ongoing access to you and your content.
Software & tools
Build something that solves a problem for your audience. Higher barrier to entry, massive potential.

Start with one. Master it. Then expand. Most people fail because they try to do everything at once.

4

The hardest part is starting

Mindset & taking action

Here's the truth: most people never start. They research, plan, and wait for the "perfect" moment that never comes. The difference between people who build something and people who just talk about it is action.

You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Common fears, and why they're overblown

"What if people judge me?"
They're too busy worrying about themselves. And the ones who judge? They're not your audience anyway.
"What if I fail?"
You will. Multiple times. That's how you learn what works. Failure is tuition for success.
"I'm not an expert."
You don't need to be the world's best. You just need to be a few steps ahead of the people you're helping.
"The market is too saturated."
Competition means there's demand. Your unique angle and personality will differentiate you.

The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is now. Take one small action today. Post something. Reach out to someone. Write the first page. Momentum builds from motion.

Reach out

Got an idea?

I love hearing what people are working on, or thinking about. Whether it's a half-baked idea or something you've been sitting on for years, reach out. No idea is a bad idea. Sometimes you just need someone to bounce it off of.
